Lunch and Learn - The Art of Sashiko
In this Lunch and Learn session we'll be talking about the art of Sashiko embroidery and it's place in quilting. Meaning "little stabs" in Japanese, Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique used for both decorative and functional purposes. Get a chance to start your own Sashiko embroidery piece, learn about thread, needles, and different uses for this beautiful needlework. This session will be 60-90 minutes in length.
