In this Lunch and Learn session we'll be talking about the art of Sashiko embroidery and it's place in quilting. Meaning "little stabs" in Japanese, Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique used for both decorative and functional purposes. Get a chance to start your own Sashiko embroidery piece, learn about thread, needles, and different uses for this beautiful needlework. This session will be 60-90 minutes in length. Lunch is included! Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Join us in this beginner wool applique class as we stitch together a cute pouch that you'll be able to use for notions or every day items! Mendi will be teaching basic stitches, how to fuse wool pieces, and how to assemble the pouch. Kit is included with this three-hour class.
